On January 29th, during Catholic School's week 2014, Bishop David Zubik returned to Quigley Catholic High School to celebrate mass with the students, faculty, administration and guest.
Bishop David Zubik was a member of the graduating class of 1967 of St. Veronica High School in Ambridge, PA. As a result of the merger of St. Veronica and Mt. Gallitzin High Schools, Quigley Catholic was formed, opened and dedicated in the Fall of 1967.
Quigley Catholic has always considered those high schools to be the foundation of our rich history. We are proud to count their graduated as alumni of Quigley Catholic.
In 1980, then Fr. David Zubik began as a religion instructor and chaplain at Quigley Catholic. He also served as chaplain for the Sisters of St. Joseph.
In 1982, Bishop Zubik added the title of vice-principal to his resume at Quigley Catholic. He continued to serve the students and families at Quigley Catholic until 1987.
Welcome back Bishop Zubik!
