Their backyard game of catch started at 10 feet. As they warmed up, Bill Koshut backed up until he was standing a pitcher’s mound to home plate away from his son. Will was in a wheelchair.

Mancini Awards

Nominees for outstanding achievement in high school musicals in Beaver, Butler and Lawrence counties were announced by judges for the Geneva College Henry Mancini Musical Theatre Awards. The awards will be presented at 7 p.m. May 16 during a ceremony in Geneva’s Metheny Fieldhouse.

An Advanced Placement literature class at Quigley Catholic High School spent a recent afternoon dissecting the lyrics to “Eleanor Rigby,” a song written by John Lennon and Paul McCartney of the Beatles.
