December 2012 Spotlight: QCHS Toy Drive

As members of the Quigley family, celebrating Chrismtas means celebrating Christ.  Presents, decorations, and music are only there to remind us of the joyous occasion that is the birth of our Lord.  However, we must keep in mind that there are families in our community that may not be able to afford a celebration this year.  In the hopes of providing gifts for children who may otherwise have nothing to open on Christmas morning, Quigley Catholic High School held its annual Toy Drive.  This year, students at Quigley Catholic donated over 110 toys to a local branch of the Saint Vincent de Paul Society.  Saint Vincent de Paul will distribute these toys to families in the community who are struggling financially this Christmas.  Thanks to the generosity of our students, parents, and staff, local children will get to experience all of the joy of this holiday season.

May God bless you and your families this Christmas and may the love of the Christ Child be with you always.
