Alumni
Naming Scholarship Opportunity
Dear Alumni and Friends,
2012 will be an exciting year on so many levels. The Olympics will be held in London and a presidential election to decide the future of this country will take place in November. The 45th Annual Quigley Classic Basketball weekend will be held.
It will also be a banner year for Quigley Catholic High School. Our new principal, Mrs. Rita McCormick is leading the way to secure the future for our beloved Quigley Catholic. A new parent group has been created to help with events, recruiting and fund raising. The new administrative position of Director of Advancement has been created to intensify the importance of development and community involvement. I am humbled to serve in this new position.
The chapel will soon be remodeled and will continue to be the focal point for class worship. We continue to upgrade our sports teams with new uniforms and strong coaching. Mock Trial, forensics, and the school musical continue to be recognized by the entire Region as exceptional.
I am inviting you, the foundation of our history, to be a part of our future. I am in the process of creating a database for a monthly e-mail newsletter. Please send your current contact info to rubino@qchs.org. I promise not to use your info for anything other than keeping you informed. Please feel free to update me on any news you would like to share with fellow Spartans.
Please visit our website (qchs.org) and Facebook page often. We are working very hard to keep both sites fresh and informative. Plan on attending a basketball game, the Fashion Show (Mar. 31st), Spring Musical (April 19-21), Golf Outing (May21st) or Gala (tentative date, Oct. 12th). Also, we have a great selection of Quigley Gear you can order via e-mail or phone (soon online).
Please check out the Naming Scholarship Opportunities in the Development section of our website. You can help a young man or women attend Quigley Catholic with your donation. Any donation of any amount will help increase our financial aid fund. There is a greater need during these challenging economic times.
Most importantly, please pray for the students, faculty and staff of Quigley Catholic. Each day we pray for all of our alumni, benefactors and anybody who helps us in any way.
May God bless you and your family in 2012. And may He bless Quigley Catholic High School.
.
